Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
- Promoter and administrator
This prize draw is administered by Red Brick Research on behalf of the promoter, The University of South Wales. Red Brick are the 'controller' (as defined in data protection law) of the personal data submitted for the purposes of the prize draw. - Eligibility
The prize draw is open to individuals aged 16 years or over who are considering university study in the UK, excluding employees of The University of South Wales, Red Brick Research, their immediate families, and anyone otherwise professionally connected with the promotion. Eligibility is confirmed via a series of questions in the survey, with ineligible participants screened out where relevant. - Entry Requirements
Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary.
To enter the prize draw, participants must:
• fully complete the survey;
• opt in to the prize draw at the end of the survey; and
• provide valid contact details (name, email address and phone number).
Only fully completed survey responses with a valid opt-in and contact details will be eligible for entry.
A maximum of one entry per person is permitted. - Opening and Closing Dates
The prize draw opens on 18th May 2026 and closes at 9am BST on Tuesday16th June 2026.
Entries received after this time will not be accepted. - Winner Selection
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries using a randomised computer process.
The first 10 valid entries drawn will each receive a prize. - The Prize
Each winner will receive £50. Payments are made via our transfer service Wise, a payment service authorised by the FCA. You will receive an email from Wise asking you to provide your payment details. Once you have confirmed your details, the payments will be made automatically. You do not need to create an account with Wise to receive your payment.
The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative or alternative prize will be offered except where the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. - Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize
Winners will be contacted by email by Red Brick Research within two weeks of the closing date.
Winners must confirm acceptance of their prize within one calendar month of being contacted. If a winner does not respond within this period, Red Brick Research will select an alternative winner.
Prizes will be issued within 14 days of confirmation. - Publicity
Winners may be asked, but are not obliged, to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion. - Winner Information
The surname and county of winners will be available upon request by emailing Arthur Parnell at aparnell@boxdelta.com within 4 weeks of the closing date.
Winners may object to their details being published by contacting Red Brick Research at the same email address. - Data Protection
Personal data (name, email address and phone number) will be collected via a question at the end of the survey and processed by Red Brick Research
• for the purpose of administering the prize draw
• to allow you to sign up to be contacted for future research
• and for fulfilling any related legal obligations.
Such data will be deleted within 3 months of the prize draw closing.
If you have separately opted in to be contacted about future research in relation to this project, your data may also be used for this purpose. Where you have explicitly consented, your contact details may be linked to your survey responses solely for the purpose of selecting participants for future research activities (such as interviews or focus groups). All personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. For further information, please see terms of use and privacy policy. - Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Red Brick Research and The University of South Wales shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the prize draw or acceptance of the prize. - General
Red Brick Research and The University of South Wales accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to technical or other reasons beyond its control.
Red Brick Research and The University of South Wales reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Red Brick Research and The University of South Wales reserve the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
Red Brick Research and The University of South Wales’ decision in all matters relating to the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. - Governing Law

This prize draw is administered by Red Brick Research on behalf of the promoter, The University of South Wales. Red Brick are the 'controller' (as defined in data protection law) of the personal data submitted for the purposes of the prize draw. - Eligibility
The prize draw is open to schools with post-16 provision, who have been contacted by The University of South Wales with an invitation to promote the USW Research Survey. - Entry Requirements
Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary.
To enter the prize draw, participating schools must:
a. Take steps to promote the USW Research Survey to their students in Years 12 and 13 by sending an email using the suggested email wording in USW’s email invitation and/or via newletters or the school’s preferred channels.
b. Achieve a minimum of 5 valid student responses to the survey. This will be counted via a question in the survey asking students to select the name of their school from a drop-down list supplied to Red Brick Research by USW for this purpose.
A maximum of one entry per school is permitted - Winner Selection
After the survey is closed, schools achieving a minimum of 5 valid student responses will be entered into the draw. The winning school will be selected at random from all eligible entries using a randomised computer process.
The first valid entry drawn will be selected as the prize winner. Red Brick Research will then contact the headteacher of the winning school directly to arrange the administration of the prize. - The Prize
The winning school will receive a prize of £2000, paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative or alternative prize will be offered except where the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. - Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize
The named contact at the winning school will be contacted by email by Red Brick Research within two weeks of the closing date.
Winners must confirm acceptance of their prize draw donation within one calendar month of being contacted. If a winner does not respond within this period, Red Brick Research will select an alternative winning school.
